The ideal railway station cottage situated on the old Great Eastern Railway for any railway enthusiast or trainspotter to rent. The cottage is detached and completely self-contained with ample free parking. It is only a few hundred yards walk away from the centre of Acle.
Acle is situated in the heart of the Norfolk Broads and is found just off the main A47 trunk road, approximately 12-miles from Norwich and 8 miles from Great Yarmouth. Acle is a thriving village and the amenities include a post office, banks, supermarket, chemist, news agent, church, pubs and several diverse places to eat, all within easy walking distance of the old railway station holiday cottage. Market day is every Thursday when auction sales are also held.
The railway station cottage accommodation (see photos) includes a large fully fitted kitchen, shower room with a W.C. and shaver socket, king-size bedroom with fitted wardrobes and colour TV, twin-bedded room with fitted wardrobes and colour TV, spacious lounge with gas fire, colour TV/video, DVD player and radio/cassette/cdplayer. There is a pay phone in the hall. A selection of books/videos and board games are also supplied.
